a breath of fresh air

Surgery went extremely well. He is breathing easily without extra oxygen and they were able to clear out his lungs of secretions. He struggled so hard to breathe in the last few days that I felt enormous relief seeing him calm after the surgery today.

I'm staying tonight at the Ronald McDonald House, which feels more like a home, instead of the hospital room. I accumulated a few things over the past 3 weeks and it was a little embarrassing walking out with 20 bags. (but funny to think about later)

with some relief and many thanks for prayers, esther

  1. I am a friend of Joy Hannan, and she sent a prayer request to our whole Sunday School class. I just read your entire blog and prayed through the whole thing with tears in my eyes! I and my family will continue to pray, and I'll be checking for updates. Keep leaning on the Everlasting Arms! Debbie Jamison in Minnesota

  5. The Buckner Bunch is praying daily and we know how faithful the Lord is. Stay strong sweet family. Hold tight to the Lord and to each other. This time next year your sweet Fergus will be running in the rain and picking dandelions for mommy. This mommy thinks dandelions are the best flowers to get from my three littles. God Bless!
